1. From the Windows Start Screen > type “device manager”
2. Click “Settings” and then click the “Device Manager” icon
3. In the “Device Manager” window, click to expand the “Disk drives” section
4. Your PC is eligible for this update if you find “Samsung MZNTE128HMGR-000SO “ or “Samsung MZNTE256HMHP-000SO” in the “Disk drives” section
5. Your PC is not eligible for this update (i.e., you should not install this firmware update) if you don’t find the above entry in the Device Manager

3. When the download is completed, locate the downloaded file in the location you specified
4. Double-click EP0000601164.exe to run it
5. Wait while the wizard updates your software
